Summary

This project consists of a new office building built for Shell Canada located at 6814 Airport Road in Fort St. John, BC. The Shell Office Building has a floor area of approximately 3,216 square meters on two levels.

The project team approached LEED certification with a high degree of energy efficiency and high environmental performance. The project has achieved the LEED Canada NC 2009 Silver certification level. Over 95% of the project’s construction waste was diverted from landfills and water conservation initiatives include waterless urinals and no permanent irrigation system being installed.
